NoBox Philippines is a drug policy reform organization
that combines community-grounded research, narrative engagement, and strategic advocacy to shift how society understands drugs and people whose lives include them—working toward harm reduction–oriented policy reform that puts health, safety, and dignity at the center.
As part of our advocacy, NoBox develops communications and engagement campaigns through online engagements, drug education workshops, training of organizations, national and local government units, and partnerships with communities of people whose lives include drugs, among others.
Evidence-driven and rights-based.
It’s always anchored on meaningful involvement, making sure that our engagements are guided by the realities and experiences of people whose lives include drugs, with utmost respect for the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We are bridging the gap by putting the person at the center.
We aim to create safe spaces for people whose lives include drugs to lead conversations that aim to normalize and streamline honest-to-goodness drug education that prioritizes the health, safety, and wellbeing of each and every individual. No exceptions.
NoBox works at the intersection of community life, drug policy, and human dignity. We do community-grounded research and shared sensemaking with people whose lives include drugs, and let these insights shape narrative engagement and public conversations that reduce stigma and open space for humane, workable reform. We also engage policy processes with rights- and evidence-informed proposals, strengthen community-led support so people can access practical help without fear or coercion, and invest in movement building—relationships, learning, and collective capacity—so change is sustained and shared.
